For Immediate Release

You'd think being on the West Coast, somewhere on TV, there'd be a Japanese cooking show. Astonishingly, a quick flip through the 500 channel universe reveals no such thing. Chinese cooking shows are aplenty, as are lifestyle and fusion. But not Japanese. "All that," promises Stroll, L.A. based development executive of Toronto-based Skycron, "is about to change."

Clio award-winning advertising vet and producer Jon Stroll, a key player behind some of the most well-known cooking shows of all time --- such as the mercurial Wok With Yan, Celebrity Cooks and Pasquale's Kitchen Express --- joins Toronto and Ottawa-based Skycron Studios as producer and development executive to produce Sushi Clash -- an MTV-style Japanese cooking show. The edgy, music driven Japanese cooking series "SUSHI CLASH", hosted by DJ Sabu, based on his popular radio show, should be hitting airwaves. By the end of May, a teaser and site will be set up.

On the music production side, producing the single "Origins", with Japanese television personality Mitsuru Kuramoto, was recorded at Studio City Sound in Studio City, California, and was engineered and mixed by Grammy-award winning mixer Tom Weir. Talks are underway for distribution by Jay Warner, National League Music. The production team of "Origins" are attached to Sushi Clash.
